Youth Leadership Application

PURPOSE:

The goal of this program is to identify and develop a group of young leaders who can impact the future of Rankin County by learning how to assume responsible community leadership roles.

THE PROGRAM WILL:

• Familiarize participants with the community’s opportunities, needs, problems and resources.

• Establish an effective dialogue and form friendships among participants and community leaders.

• Develop leadership and management skills by providing training in skills such as goal setting, effective communication, decision making, team building, motivation, organization and work ethic development.
