The home of Mississippi’s best hamburger began in October of 2010. With over 25 years in the restaurant business, our team specializes in everything from fast food, buffets, catering, and fine dining. We have joined together to share our passion for developing the biggest, freshest hamburger in the state of Mississippi. Those who live here already know… Those of you passing through are encouraged to give us a try!

Laid Back Burger Shack began as a passion to bring something different to the town of Florence, Ms. At the time the restaurant selections in this area consisted of fast food, seafood, and pizza. We wanted to build a restaurant that would provide freshly prepared American favorites.

Although Laid Back Burger Shack has always been a carryout restaurant, we have provided our guests an area with tables that we call “The Porch” to sit and enjoy their meals together. In November of 2011, we closed in “The Porch” and added central air and heating to improve the quality and comfort of our eating area.

All of our ingredients have always been fresh. We believed that the people of Florence would appreciate and support our restaurant providing them a healthier, more enjoyable carry out restaurant experience.

In the beginning, we served hamburgers, chicken, shrimp, fries, onion rings, and dill pickles. We began adding specials to the menu and over time the most popular special items were added to our regular menu.
