About Us

Mississippi Society for Disabilities (MSD) was founded in 1959, under the organization name ‘Easter Seals of Mississippi’. MSD is a statewide non-profit organization and a registered charity with the Mississippi Secretary of State. The society is dependent upon state grants, special fundraisers, and donations from individuals, local communities, as well as local businesses. The Mississippi Society for Disabilities is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors

Mississippi Society for Disabilities provides a broad spectrum of programs and services designed to meet the needs of disabled individuals across the State of Mississippi. Our services include Client Assistance Program (CAP), Speech Rehabilitation, and Vision Therapy. Our hope is that we enable these individuals to achieve maximum independence and the highest possible quality of life.
