Every member of the Rankin County Chamber of Commerce is listed TWICE in our annual membership publication. Each year, over 10,000 Simply Rankin books are distributed throughout Rankin County and given to new residents of the area. Every Chamber member is listed on the Chamber Website at www.rankinchamber.com. This interactive website is a valuable internet resource for every member of the Chamber and is included as part of membership. Upon your initial membership to the Chamber you will be listed as a new member in the monthly Chamber newsletter.
Discounted Advertising Opportunities
ONLY Chamber Members are allowed to insert flyers in the Chamber monthly newsletter. You can reach 1,000 businesses and over 3,500 customers for only $100 and a digital copy of your insert ONLY Chamber Members are allowed to advertise in Welcome Home; A Newcomer’s Guide to Rankin County. These ads are available at a very competitive rate but are limited due to space limitations.
Ribbon Cuttings
We want to make your business a HUGE success. Let us host a ribbon cutting for you, complete with GIANT scissors and a big, blue bow. Your Grand Opening will be featured in area newspapers and Chamber Members will come out and welcome your new business.
Business Expo
This is an annual event held at the Hinds Community College-Rankin Campus. There are over 80 booth spots available and more than 400 people attend the event.

This condensed calendar is emailed to you each week to remind you of upcoming events and provides detailed information about Chamber functions. This is available only to Chamber members.
Networking Opportunities
Lunch Clubs are held the second Tuesday and the third Thursday of each month. They allow you to visit area restaurant members and get to know the movers and shakers of Rankin County on a first name basis. Business @ Breakfast is a great networking opportunity for early risers. This meeting is held at 7:30 a.m. the last Friday of each month and offers additional networking opportunities.

Special Programs
Leadership Rankin is an annual program designed to develop leadership skills among the future leaders of Rankin County. Applications are accepted in July and the program runs through May. The Ambassadors Committee serves as the public representatives of the Chamber. This group is a strong way to grow your business and make powerful business contacts.
