Rankin County Chamber Committees

AGRICULTURE COMMITTEE
PURPOSE: To promote the importance of agriculture in Rankin County through education and awareness.

AMBASSADORS COMMITTEE
PURPOSE: To encourage support of local Chamber business events through attendance and support at ribbon cuttings, groundbreakings and visiting Chamber members to aid in retention.

EVENTS COMMITTEE
PURPOSE: To coordinate the Chamber’s Annual Meeting and other special events.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
PURPOSE: To assess and meet the needs of Rankin County businesses and work to promote those businesses throughout the county.

EDUCATION COMMITTEE
PURPOSE: To work with schools, educators, businesses and individuals to promote education in Rankin County.

ELDER SERVICES COMMITTEE
PURPOSE: To educate and inform the aging population and their caregivers about services available to them in Rankin County.

LEADERSHIP RANKIN
PURPOSE: Works to recruit a group of informed, committee and qualified adults who are capable of providing dynamic leadership to Rankin County. The group tours various entities around Rankin County and meets with business and government officials to learn what makes Rankin County such a great place to work and play. In addition, four individual teams are formed and each team is responsible for completing a service project that gives back to the community.

MARKETING/TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE
PURPOSE: To promote Rankin County, area businesses and the Chamber through advertisements, brochures and other publicity.

MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
PURPOSE: To develop and implement fun and exciting programs to ensure positive growth in membership and retention.
